Improvement of Pets.
As everyone know by now that Beast Master is either for Iway W/R or Thumper R/W? Very little people use the true use of Pets especial those that come as pet's attack. So these are my suggestions:
1. Make pet so you can be able to Ride on it. Just add another command in pet's panel.
- Energy cost: 15e
- Recharge: 20s
All of your pet's attack skill are disable till you get down the pet. When you are riding a pet, you gain 20 armor vs physical, + 100 Health and be able to jump every 60s. WHEN YOU GET KNOCKDOWN, YOU FALL OUT OF THE PET. (Jump: cost no energy, recharge 60s, cast time 1/4s. Be able to jump at the distance of HALF AGGRO BUBBLE.)
There need to be a climb down command as well. No cost, no recharge, cast time 3/4s.
PVE ONLY sorry didn't mention!!!!
To those that complain about riding a CRAB? Jeez Did I say you can do that? NO? Of course it needs to be BIG pets and ridable! Thank you!
2. Beside comfort pet, charm animal, there can be a skill call "pet attacks". This skill is unsuable but when equip, you can equip 3 pet's attack skills in your pet bar. Make it so you can use manually those skills.
Note: When equip this skill, you suffer 1/2 of the damage that your pet suffer. Note that this is not a redirect type of penalty.
3. Beside the attack, avoid battle and defense status, I really want to be able to control my pet better such as these commands.
- Come back: Your pet ignore whatever is she/he doing and come back to the caller.
- Push up: Your pet attack whoever you are targetting. Note: You don't need to attack that target in order to make your pet attack.
- Hold: Your pet willl stop at its current position and not moving nor attacking anything.
You can /sign1, /notsign2, /sign3 or /sign all or /notsign all.
Thank you!

Riding a pet in GW? Yeah... Not only is that bad enough (Luxon crab), but you also want it to give you more health AND armour? Nope. Can't imagine that being abused.
I'll stick with my mounts in WoW.
As for number 3, I feel I can control my ranger's pet in the exact way you describe with the current system. You just need to know how to use it.

/notsigned i like it the way it is, you give the pets an extra skill bar then it really is like having 9 on a team. Good for PvE, would exploited in PvP more then likely.

A mount would be great but I don't see turning pets into that. A seperate skill bar would be nice but it's true having that is like having 9 players. The best option I could think of with regards to the skill bar is to basicly turn the pet into a hero. So now you have to choose between the pet, a player or another hero. This brings up further issues because then pets would probably have to be rebalanced.

1st, you did not read the whole thing. Did you read the penalty it does? And no the "3" PET's Attack skill does not make it another player because the damage the pet make isn't great and it can not support the team of any kind.

You are suggesting balance problems. Pets do thier job currently. If you want a damage dealing weapon, you spec in Beast Mastery and use appropriate skills. If you want a tank/distractor, you only use 1-2 skills other than Charm+Comfort. Even making the pet do less damage, but allowing it to take more skills is imbalanced.
Example:
3 skills available, but doing less damage, I can see these skills wreaking havoc, even with NO extra damage.
[skill]Bestial Mauling[/skill][skill]Bestial Pounce[/skill][skill]Disrupting Lunge[/skill][skill]Maiming Strike[/skill][skill]Pounce[/skill][skill]Savage Pounce[/skill]
Those are just the pet attack skills. If you allow things like shouts to be included, you can make the pet unblockable, attack faster, and run faster. Who cares if your pet is dealing damage to a Monk, if that Monk can't cast spells for being Dazed and Knocked down. You and your team can do the killing, or allow them to kill someone else while that Monk is dealing with your pet.
Learn how to play the game better and you will see there is no need for a change.

I'd like to see pets stay as they are. I put together a BM build that several in my guild use. They like it so much that they take their ranger plus the three ranger heroes with the build.
IMO Most people don't use pets because they are too lazy to put together a decent BM build. If you look in the builds section you will see that many do use pets as intended.

Saying not able to ride a crab, creates bias. All pets should be ridable, negating size of the pet limits the point of having such a skill to use in the first place.

Have to say, this new poll thing Celestial Beaver is doing is really showing how well the ideas are being taken in at a first glance, rather than reading all the individual posts.

Aside from the random new person to the game, I've seen very few people use IWAY as a skill in PvE, and never have I seen one use a pet in conjunction. Most of the people I see using thumpers for PvE are for their heroes and even that kind of faded out awhile ago.
I know a large number of people that use Beast Mastery in PvE for the way that it was intended to be used.
What exactly is it about your suggestion that suddenly makes Beast Mastery a better option? Because it's so kewlz that you can ride a pet? You did not suggest anything that would make Beast Mastery a better option than, say, Marksmanship. You just changed it to be zomg neato. If you want to buff Beast Mastery, then fine. That's cool. But there are better ways to do it.

/signed for pets having their own attack bar.
I like this idea because with only 8 skill slots, and at least two being used up for your pet, why shouldn't the pet have its own? That way we wouldn't have to worry about putting so much into the Beast Mastery attribute when our points are so limited.

1) Mounts will not fit into the game without serious rebalancing/tweaking. If you want them that badly, there's several traditional mmorpg's out there for ya.
2) So you're basicly extending a players skill bar by 3+ skills? There's a reason our skill bars only hold 8 atm.
3) You just described the current heel/guard/attack target we currently have in place...
